Fundraising – Chocolate

Pack 758’s next project is the Annual Fundraising Activity where we sell chocolates to raise funds to help the pack subsidize all the Outdoor Activities and Camping. Unlike previous years, this year the Scouts will earn Cash back for the extra boxes of chocolates that they sell. 
Here are the details :

  1. Chocolates will be distributed this Sunday Oct 20th during our indoor meeting.
  2. It’s mandatory for every Cub Scout to sell at least ONE BOX.
  3. Scout will receive $65.00 cash back if they sell 5 boxes of chocolates.
  4. Each chocolate is sold to the consumer at $1.00 each.
  5. Every parent is encouraged to pay when collecting the chocolates.
  6. In addition to selling their own individual chocolate box, all Cubs will have to participate in selling chocolatesoutside stores like Sam’s Club etc. in the month of Nov/Dec 2019.    FYI, Chocolates sold in groups outside the grocery stores will be from the stock of the Pack. Therefore no one will be allowed to bring their own box from home to sell at the group event.
  7. Cub Scouts that participate in both the activities ( selling their own box AND participating in group sales outside stores ) will receive the Fundraising PATCH.
  8. Those Cub Scouts who do not pick up their share of chocolates to sell, will have to pay FULL PRICE at the remaining activities till the end of the Cub Scout year.
  9. Cash back breakdown
    • 1st box mandatory to sell. (no cash earned)
    • 2nd box pay $50 instead of $60. (total cash earned after 2 box $10)
    • 3rd box pay $45 instead of $60. (total cash earned after 3 box $25)
    • 4th box pay $40 instead of $60. (total cash earned after 4 box $45)
    • 5th box pay $40 instead of $60. (total cash earned after 5 box $65)
  10. Appreciation gift will be also given to top seller in each den.
